Thanksgiving

Hello! We went home for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time visiting with family. It was really nice to see everyone and the kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins at my mom's house. We had wonderful food at both our parents' houses....THANK YOU! So much for my diet while I was there, but it was worth it!!

Here are a few pictures from our trip. One of Sutherlan with Aunt B (how cute!). One of the kids with their cousins...Chandler, Amber and Jada. Also, here's one of me with my mom and sister. Can't wait until Christmas!

Disney Princess Classics on Ice

We took Sutherlan to see the princesses when they came to Macon and she had so much fun! We took her when we first moved to Macon two years ago, but this year was much more exciting. She really got into the show. She was waving and yelling "Hello". She did great, but did get a little tired toward the end. The show lasted two hours with a short intermission. Of course, you can't get out of those shows without buying something. She loves Beauty and the Beast and wanted Mrs. Potts and Chip. Here she is posing with Mrs. Potts and Daddy.

Halloween

This year was so much fun! Dylan dressed up as Ghost Rider and Sutherlan was Princess Fiona. As a surprise, KiKi dressed up as Shrek! It was great! All the kids in the neighborhood loved seeing Shrek. We had a ton of trick-or-treaters this year and we went through 10 bags of candy!

Of course, Brandon and I had to dress up too. We couldn't be left out! Here are some "funny" pictures from our spooky Halloween!

Dylan meets Denny Hamlin!

What can I say, our family LOVES NASCAR and this year before the Atlanta race, Denny Hamlin was signing autographs at Bass Pro Shop. Of course, Dylan would not miss meeting a NASCAR driver. Every time there is a NASCAR driver within 50 miles, Dylan will be there. Last year, he got to meet Tony Stewart before the Atlanta race. He has also gotten to meet several other drivers this year. Hopefully, I will get those pictures posted soon.

It is really cute because before he meets them, he draws them a picture. He takes the picture to them and the drivers really seem to like getting them. I think NASCAR is a great sport because kids actually get a chance to meet their favorite drivers!

Race for the Cure

Recently, I was lucky enough to do the Race for the Cure with my friend, Rebecca, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. We had a really great time and it meant a lot to do this race with them. Not only was it great exercise, but it was nice to support such a GREAT cause - Breast Cancer! Thanks to all of them for walking with me and we will have to do it again next year!!

Soccer Season

Well, soccer season is coming to an end tomorrow. This season has been more like watching tackle football than soccer. I've never seen so much kicking, pushing, punching and tackling in soccer before. We definitely had a WILD bunch this year! Dylan played GREAT in his last game and tomorrow we have the Soccer Awards Celebration. Up next, hopefully baseball in the Spring!

We just love reading and seeing what is going on with other family members and friends and thought we would create a blog ourselves.
